Our annual Old Augustinians Remembrance Mass takes place on Saturday 12th November 2022 at St. Augustine's Abbey Church, Ramsgate commencing at 12 noon.
The order of the day will be as follows:
- 11.45am Organ Music prior to Mass
- 12.00 noon Remembrance Mass inside St. Augustine's Church to include a Roll Call of Honour read by Ursuline College Students - Remembrance with the last post followed by 2 minutes silence - Reveille and a tribute to OA Michael Thunder RIP
- 13.00pm The Blessing of the Graves
- 13.10pm The laying of the wreath and Blessing of the Old Augustinian Memorial
- 13.15pm Reception in the St. Augustine and Pugin Visitor Centre
- 13.30pm Presentation of Old Augustinian gifts for Educational purposes to St. Augustine's Church and to the Ursuline College
There is no charge for this gathering. However, there will be a collection for the Church during Mass and any donations to the OAs to help us cover our costs would be most welcome.
For those who want to go for lunch afterwards we will be going to the Ramsgate Tandoori, 17 Harbour Street, Ramsgate on a Pay as you Go basis. Just let us know beforehand if you wish to go so we can give the restaurant the likely numbers of attendees.
